For nearly 40 years, Oakwood voters have supported the Permanent Improvement Levy. That funding has helped the district maintain its buildings, invest in technology and equipment and address long-term needs. This is a continued investment in the schools that belong to all of us.

The 2026 proposal does not increase the current tax revenue the schools receive. It simply changes the levy from a five-year renewal to a continuing levy, providing a more dependable source of funding for the future.

The 2026 Permanent Improvement Levy renewal helps Oakwood Schools:

• Maintain safe, functional school buildings by providing dedicated funding for long-term facility needs.
• Keep technology current by supporting the replacement of student devices, network infrastructure and classroom technology.
